The GTX series graphics cards are for next-generation gaming.
It consists of (In order of performance):
- GTX 460
- GTX 550 Ti
- GTX 555
- GTX 560
- GTX 560 Ti
- GTX 570
- GTX 580
- GTX 590
- GTX 680
- GTX 690
The GTX 590, which used to be nVidia's fastest card, has now been bested by nVidia's new GTX 680 - a single-gpu card which performs better than the 590's dual-gpu configuration. nVidia Also just released (on April 29th, 2012) the GTX 690, which combines two 680-chips in a single card solution. Nearly doubling the processing power on a single card. The GTX 690 is currently the most powerful consumer card available. The lower-priced 600-series models are expected to be released in May.
