Every day hundreds of new apps make their debut on the App Store, and hundreds more are updated or reduced in price. We have sifted through the noise and highlighted those select few that might be worth your attention.

Game Debuts

Trees of Life – ($0.99)
Trees of Life is a stark and soothing strategy puzzle game. Grow trees, collect the orbs, and then grow more trees. It's also a lesson in Fractals.

Wawa Land – ($0.99)
Wawa Land is a traditional 2D platformer through and through. Jump, spin, and ground pound your way through dozens of stages.

Starbounder – ($1.99)
Starbounder is a unique 3D racing platformer. Or perhaps it is better described as a 3D auto-running platformer. Bottom line? It's a racing game with a jump button. Cool!

Price Drops

Feed That Dragon – (Free)
Despite its rather generic look, Miniclip's Feed That Dragon is actually a competent and feature-rich physics puzzler. Anyone not tired of the formula yet should jump on it while it's free. The iPad version is also free.

FlyBoy – (Free)
This base jumping title has dropped to free for the first time since it launched last August. The title isn't as polished as indie hit AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!, but not much is. Plus it is very hard to argue with "free."

Real Racing 2 – ($1.99)
EA's gorgeous Real Racing 2 is available for more than half off. The iPad version has also been discounted, albeit more modestly.
