Ordering Single Working Papers Full texts of all working papers that were distributed more than 18 months ago are available at no charge in electronic form. More recent papers are available at no charge to students, faculty, and employees at subscribing firms and institutions, to NBER Corporate Associates, subscribers to the full paper series, to journalists, to employees of the U.S. federal government, and to residents of nations with per capita GDP of less than $35,000 (2017). by phone (617-588-1405), by fax (617-349-3955, or by mail to: Working Papers NBER 1050 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA 02138-5398 Advance payment is required on all orders. Payment may be made by check or credit card. Checks should be made payable to the NBER and must be in dollars drawn on a U.S. bank. The NBER DigestThe Digest is a monthly publication that summarizes at least four recent and newsworthy NBER Working Papers. Professional journalists write these summaries for a non-technical audience. The Bureau sends nearly 12,000 copies of the Digest each month to readers in government, business, universities, and the media. The NBER Digest is available in hard copy to the general public upon request.
