Subject: NBER-RPI Scientific Papers Database
Dear Dan:
We are sending by DHL Overnight the NBER-Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Scientific Papers Database. Included as well are a cover letter and a 57 page guide to the data, which should "go with" the data, as we discussed.
For now I want to limit distribution to NBER, while we see how this goes. Perhaps an announcement is in order, especially for Productivity, where there are some people may have an interest in these data.
The data files are available in several formats, but all are compressed
with PKzip. Each is about 150 megabytes (compressed).
Thus, I believe that I have put the data in all the different formats that you requested. All this is to make the data transfer more convenient and less time consuming for you.
Please contact me if you have questions.
Best Regards,
Jim
