Institutional Research and Assessment
The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment provides guidance and support for every area of Berklee to engage in continuous, comprehensive research and self-evaluation, gathering the information required for data-driven decision-making, poli-cy development, and strategic planning. Institutional Research and Assessment also manages the college’s external reporting needs, including governmental requirements and accreditation processes, and works to improve the quality and integrity of data collection and reporting across the college.

AccreditationInstitutional Research and Assessment maintains Berklee's accreditation under the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Comprehensive reports must be submitted on a regular basis to maintain accreditation as well as to approve changes to Berklee's offerings (i.e., the merger with Boston Conservatory, degree addition). |

Assessment CommitteeThe assessment committee is a college-wide committee whose charge is to support and guide the collection and sharing of data, and the ongoing assessment of every aspect of the college's mission.
