A Guelph woman is charged with impaired driving after police were called Tuesday morning to a north end business, Guelph police report.
Approximately 11:35 a.m. police were called about an intoxicated female who had driven to a business on Woodlawn Road West. Officers arrived and spoke to the female, who had a strong odour of alcohol on her breath and was showing obvious signs of impairment.
After failing a roadside breath test she was arrested and transported to the police station, where further tests confirmed she had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
A 40-year-old Guelph woman is charged with impaired operation. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
