Cristen Carr Strubbe has been an indispensable part of some of the most notable productions of Directors Steven Spielberg, Mike Nichols, Ivan Reitman, Sam Mendes, Christopher Nolan, Michael Mann, and cult favorites John Landis, Wes Craven and Sam Raimi.
As SVP, Physical Production she oversees production on both International Franchise films (Jurassic World, Fifty Shades, Halloween...) as well as other individual projects (She Said, News of the World, The Photograph, Get Out...) for Universal Pictures.
As SVP, Physical Production at Good Universe, she shepherded projects from various stages of production through delivery to major studios. Films include Neighbors, Don't Breathe, The Night Before, Neighbors 2.
Strubbe's freelance career as a Producer / Production Manager, spanning 30 years, included production credits as diverse as OZ, The Great and Powerful, Charlie Wilson's War, American Beauty (for which Strubbe shares a DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement), Catch Me If You Can, The Prestige, Redeye, Hollywoodland, In Her Shoes, Drag Me To Hell, and Ali, to name a few.
Strubbe has the distinct honor of cutting her teeth in the production offices of the 80s cult classics Critters, Tremors and Reform School Girls.
Being an active member of the film community, she has been a DGA Member since 1991 and a PGA member since 2010 as well as proudly holding a Leadership role in Women's Production Society, whose mission is to promote the hiring of Women for leadership roles in Film, Television and New Media.
Cristen adds to her list of joys, her three children Erin, KC & Ethan and husband, John, all who support her endeavors with great enthusiasm.
