Matt Demayo
- Actor
Actor known for Just Creepy: "Killer Filters" (2020), "Protectors of Life" (2019), and "Payoff" (2019).
Matt Demayo was born in Tallahassee, Florida on May 2, 1995. He started pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in August 2018 at Florida State University, with an intended graduation date of May 2021. He has worked in a variety of settings including fitness facilities, retail, and the county school systems. Throughout most of Matt's childhood, he was very shy, but as he progressed through his teenage years, his confidence grew and he stepped out of his comfort zone. A lot of this can be attributed to his involvement in personal fitness and more experience on stage. Passion and enthusiasm on stage, as well as dance and athleticism in the gym quickly became some of his best characteristics. His first role as an actor was in high school, where he starred in a musical called, "We the People and 'Nifty-Fifties'".
Matt has a strong work ethic and is a diligent student in the classroom. He has been known to show perseverance and prioritize his values, which include family, friends, work, and school. He believes that education is very important, but making time for the people you care and love shows true character. His personal fitness goals are also of value to Matt. Without his experience with fitness giving him more confidence, he would have never had the courage to approach theater or films. The adrenaline experienced during workouts and the cool down afterwards allows peace of mind. Especially after an audition, even after failure, these workouts teach him that it is normal to fail. It just pushes him to keep going and strive to make his goals a reality.
Matt not only has a love for being involved in his acting career and in fitness, but also for the community and church. His upbringing allowed him to be involved in volunteering for various groups, which he is truly grateful for. Matt feels blessed for having supportive family and friends that help him maintain his skills as a leader, actor, student, and diligent hard worker.
