Tammy Ari
- Music Department
- Composer
Tammy Ari is a Los Angeles based, Sri Lankan-Australian, genre-defying music composer who has splashed notes against a wide spectrum of film, television, and advertising projects. Coupled with her deep roots as a classical pianist (studying under acclaimed concert pianist, Ronald Farren Price), and prior ventures as a songwriter-producer in the electronic music world - it is this elixir of experience that gives her creations a unique sensory tone.
Ironically, Tammy's 'first gig' and foray into the motion picture space was when she got the opportunity to compose for Jimmy Barnes', My First Gig (Max Channel).
Since then, she has worked with globally renowned production houses such as Quincy Jones Productions, Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, and is also a resident collaborator with The DA's Office, Hyperballad Music, and Cleod9 Music.
Now based in Los Angeles, Tammy has accumulated a gamut of projects under her belt, including For Winter (National Geographic), Drug Lords: The Takedown (National Geographic), Tripped Up (Lunch Hour Productions), The Australian Wars (Blackfella Films), Moon Rock for Monday (Lunar Pictures), Stars on Mars (Eureka Productions), and many more.
She is also the Founder of creative house, Veirtu and non-profit production house, xPropelr.
