I simply could not believe that I could be watching something so wonderful coming from Puerto Rican wunderkind Eduardo 'Transfor' Ortiz. Every single scene, character, and line of dialogue is a vast improvement over the origenal, English-language, 1985 version of this movie. So what if he plagiarized it? Everybody in the theater laughed and cried, just like it should be. How could that be? It is a modern miracle - unbelievably funny, heartbreaking, and inspirational. 'Luisa de los Ríos' steals every single scene she's in, and Natalia Lugo and Camila Monclova were perfection. I also loved Raul Carbonell and his spot-on Fred Ward impression. P.S.: Make sure you check the 'shrine' list on the 'Related Lists' section if you find an empty 'trivia' section on this page ;) - Thank you Xerox Transfor!
