This movie taught me about how human urbanization have an impact on the animal kingdom. Us humans destroy their homes whereas they come in ours to hang onto survival and we are pushing them out again. This shows that us human are heartless and only care for ourselves

Clever!
Wow, what a wonderful surprise. I have to admit that when I first saw the trailer for this film, it really didn't grab me. Dreamworks obviously has a great animation team, but that doesn't always mean the storyline is going to be interesting enough to amuse me. Well, I certainly stand corrected on this one. The script was quite clever and the characters were unique. My favorite was definitely Hammy. Which was interesting, because to my recollection, the initial trailers seemed to focus on him and that was what kind of turned me off; go figure. The plot was simple enough, but quite cleverly executed, with a lot of great little details. For the first time I found myself more interested in the storyline than studying the animation and marveling at the lighting, etc. I will definitely be picking up a copy so I can watch over and over.

Over The Hedge 2
Playing this game feels like I'm experiencing a sequel to the movie it was based on. It's pretty rare to see a licensed game for a movie to go into that direction. Regardless, it was quite a good game. The Over The Hedge video game is a pretty nice game that goes well into the game's direction we wouldn't often see in licensed movie games. It would provide some decent writing for the game that takes place a year after the events of the movie. Along with some enjoyable gameplay that provides some bonus objectives to allow the players to take time to go back with some that can be pretty challenging and some of the graphics that fits to the game such as the traps. Of course, does have some flaws such as how the lighting of the graphics is too dark to follow the game, cutscenes that often are suspiciously similar to the Sly Cooper games (although it's understandable since the movie it was based on is technically a heist movie), and the only mini game mode that sucked was RC Racing. I did have fun with BumperCarts and Range Diver, but RC Racing would have the gameplay that's too struggling. I mean, it would never let the players turn or speed up properly when they use the action buttons. I will just ask this question for my recommendation. Do you want to experience an Over The Hedge sequel? This would be for you. Not even this kind of direction would allow me to consider this the best licensed game ever made. But for what it is, it did do a pretty good job for adapting the movie into a game with a little followup.
