Oh Hannah :)
I was a teenager and fell in love with this girl.
It's pretty obvious it was a bad show, but I was enjoying it back then :)

Cheesy and silly, but mostly fun and enjoyable.
10 years ago, no one would have suspected that a show about a middle school girl who lives a double life as a normal teen and a pop sensation would become an overnight hit - but it has, and that type of show takes the form of Mickey's new pride and joy Hannah Montana, starring a fresh-faced Miley Cyrus (yes, "Achy Breaky's" daughter).
So the premise, well, I have already explained it. But the catch is, for some reason, she has to keep her double identity a secret. The only people who know are her family, friends, and her on-again-off-again boyfriend. It seems easy enough to keep the cat in the bag, but paparazzi photos that contain evidence and suspicious schoolmates are easy - and frequent - threats to the ordeal.
The acting is all over the place on this show. The actors can be over-the-top and crazy very frequently, and in a second can switch to dull and lifeless, be it in a comedic or dramatic scene. One actor who manages to (slightly) neutralize herself is Emily Osment - who plays the main character's best friend - from the last two installments of Spy Kids, and she does quite a good job of that. A bright future for her as an actress can definitely be seen. Mitchel Musso and Jason Earles have great comedic timing but are way too wild with their acting on occasion. Billy Ray Cyrus as the father (meaning he doesn't have to act much as he's Hannah's father in real life) often seems like he's reading off a teleprompter and shows no emotion. His daughter, Miley, the leading lady, definitely has some comedic timing but needs to work more on her acting if she's expected to carry a show.
The story lines are mostly good and have some kind of moral value to them. But as with typical Disney tradition, the values are never subtle. But that's OK, because the 18 minutes leading up to the 2-minute cheesiness are mostly enjoyable. And Miley has quite a bit of singing talent. The acting is mediocre and the plots can be shallow at times, but overall, this is enjoyable and kids will love it, which is the most important thing for a show like this. Hannah Montana rates as a 6 out of 10.

One of the many examples of why Disney has gone downhill...
Original!
Very unique and fun to watch, but many times it is unbelievable, and has corny jokes. Yet it is exciting to watch, and most of the time the jokes are funny. Though the Jake Ryan episodes are very boring. I think that they could have had a lot better jokes in them.Though, it is nice how all the episodes are different and don't repeat the same concept like in that so raven. The acting is better in the newer episodes, but in the old ones you could really tell it was rehearsed, but above all it is a hilarious show that is very random and unpredictable. I recommend watching this because I personally think it is the best show on Disney. When you first hear about it it might sound confusing and lame, but trust me once you start watching it you figure it out easily. Hananh Montana is one of the only shows that leaves you with a good feeling. Hannah Montana has great lessons for kids, and hopefully she will keep doing Hannah Montana for much longer.

A American 'comedy'. cough.
I am 19 years old and I hate to say this but I love Hannah Montana
I can't believe that so many people dislike this TV show because they hate Miley Cryus and they don't like the show. Just because she is too mature for her age and is a real daddy's girl doesn't mean that people should hate her for that. Anyway about the TV show the show is about a young teenager named Miley Stewart who by day is a country gal and by night with the help of some clothes and a blonde wig she is Hannah Montana. The music is alright and the plot is funny. I find Cyrus to be funny as she always says Jackson said something about what? and she's always fighting with her brother Jackson.
The movie version of this is very good as it is similar to the TV show except it shows us where she lived and what she is missing out on.
I like the show and I think Cryus is OK a bit too old fashioned and her accent is annoying but still I think she's a decent actress.
Is it me or is she trying to be Hilary Duff's long lost twin with the blonde wig and the style of clothes. Never mind anyway i'll give it a 8/10.

Not that bad, yet not that good
Alright, I can say I minded three stages of my life talking about Hannah Montana. Three years ago we could say I was a really really huge fan of it. I used to completely love this show, despite I don't know exactly why it really catch my attention. Second phase, Hate. For some reason my mind said: ''Enough of Hannah Montana or I'm gonna die''. I hated this show because there was no sense on it! But now, sadly I gotta say I'm on a third phase; no mood. I don't really have anything against this TV Show, yeah, I know is really lame sometimes, but I can honestly say I sometimes find myself watching it! Why? Ah, because of my little sis or because there's no other stuff on TV. Yeah, I can mind this show, is not that bad, actually it sometimes makes me laugh (let me be clear, I very sometimes laugh with this TV show....) and I think it's a bit enjoyable. Although the comedic theme is lame the most of the times. Don't blame the entire cast, I think is Miley's fault. Her character is probably the most awful thing on the Show. Not because of her role model (which I think is pretty bad), because of whole her. She's the most annoying character on the show, she's rude to her friends the most of the times, she's clearly very clueless (I mean, the most of the time she's stupid!), and she's the typical stereotype of dumb girl who has her empty mind focused into make-up, date boys, and pretend to be the perfect girl (yeah, by wearing Hannah Montana's wig and thinking nobody would recognize her...) plus, each episode you can see her with a brand new boyfriend and she's always arguing with her charming father because he treats her ''like a child'', or because he doesn't want her to be hurt by dating the wrong guys. She thinks is bad so she gets mad at him (which I think is a really bad example for girls who watch the TV Show) and decides to make it on her own. But at the very ending she makes up for him singing a song. That's very, but very very repetitive and even annoying; I hate her so badly, but I think sometimes she's a little less empty-headed, by showing her deep care about her friends and stuff. Alright, that does not mean she's a good character, I already said is the most annoying one. BUT I thing the rest of the cast makes up to her. Lily is a really cute girl, even funny and enjoyable. She has good values to show and actually is a good example. Also Oliver. Miley's father is the best character, he's the funniest one and the most lovable. Rico is fine, I don't have anything against him. I found Miley's brother really nasty, I don't like his character. And I think it's all; I think if they took away Miley's character, Hannah Montana would be really good; it's a good idea, they make it funny but not that funny, enjoyable maybe-- And it sometimes shows up good values for girls (sometimes---). The characters are well portrayed by their respective actors and actresses (ok, everybody but Miley's role; Miley Cyrus has something to do with my hate on Miley's role, tough. She's so nasty, and by everything she did and keeps doing, you could say she's a really hateful slut which makes you wanna say: ''Hey, you! Get back to earth and stop being so bitchy! I know you're at the top, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want!'') The music on the show is kinda lame too. It's not something you could put on your iPod to listen over and over again. Actually, without Miley's role, without Jason being disgusting and without that lame music, Hannah Montana would be a lot better. 5/10

Great Show!
This show is great.
All the people complaining about how it isn't realistic or how the stories are to predictable seem to forget that it's not meant for adults and it's not meant to be totally realistic. It's meant to be a nice show for kids. Those that complain about how it's encouraging kids to be shallow and think that money is everything should watch a few episodes. So many of them are about Miley realising that those things don't matter.
This is a nice feel good show. Don't watch it for deep artistic debate. Watch it cause its fun.

Sweet Niblets! Love the show, love the humor and love the soundtrack aswell
Not gonna lie, after season 2 i started focusing on the supporting main character like Lilly, Jackson and Robby Ray rather than the title character herself. They clearly stole the show

Hannah Montana Is AWESOME
This is an honest review (not a hater & not a deluded fan)
I've seen a lot of user reviews of this show and I am a bit disappointed. Most of the reviews are just haters doing their best to trash this show. Luckily, at the time this show was airing, I wasn't watching because I didn't have access to Disney Channel. I say luckily because if I did, I would probably join the list of the people who were sick and annoyed at this show. I only watched this last year and I must say, I had fun with it. Don't get me wrong, I saw flaws, especially in season 1. The acting was disappointing for some, some jokes weren't that funny (the laugh tracks didn't help) and the show was a bit two over-the- top. These problems are even more notable in the first 3 episodes. However, overtime you start to adapt to the show's nature and also it starts diminish the flaws. You can still still spot these flaws in later seasons, but they are not worse than when the show began. The show also has great features: it has exciting story lines, the characters are lovable, it has some funny puns and a few pop culture references, it's cute funny (rarely inappropriate), it recognizes teenager's struggles and even though some episodes seemed repetitive, there aren't so much clichés in the stories, not that I even seen. What I liked more about this show are Miley & Lily. Miley Stewart wasn't interesting in season 1, but after season 2 she became an actual character and way funnier, with her many quirks and over-the-top jokes, behavior and plans. Lily is also very funny, ever since the first season. Jackson was silly, unfunny and irrelevant for me at first, but after the show took his love/hate relationship with Rico more seriously, he became more interesting, along with Rico. Robby Ray, in spite of his not so good acting, has always been hilarious, inspiring and memorable. Even though the show's main premise is about a lie, the show is very educative. The show tried to show us something new in TV for kids and despite the flaws and what many people say, I think it did.

A good show that teach's children values, such as ethics, honesty, and fairplay!
Why are there so many bad reviews? and Why is this show so immensely popular? I have to admit I never watched the show until last year, and watched my first episode a few months ago and thought, hey this is a good show for children, and enjoyed watching it with my nephew who is six and niece who is five ( They love her and the cast). I also bought the Hannah Montana movie, and also enjoyed watching it. First this is a show that is geared towards children, but I also found that it taught good moral values, ethics, and diversity.
Is Disney going down hill, I think not. Disney is still producing great quality children shows that teach good American values, morale's and ethics and honesty and fair play.
Obviously Hannah aka Miley Cyrus has grown into a beautiful teenage young woman and is now progressing to other areas of entertainment in her career as well as breaking out of her shell, just as Hillary Duff, and Christina Aguilara did when they were both her age and had to move on from the Disney Channel. Growing up is just a fact of life, does that now make Miley a bad role model? I think not!

Lily's character in season 3
In the 1st season the show was hilarious, and it was so good until Lily & Oliver went out. She is totally obnoxious and I honestly hated her in I honestly love you (no,not you) She cries so much! Wel 1st of all she doesn't know what love is and she is really annoying. I think this kind of proves that she doesn't belong with Oliver. But each time she has a boyfriend she's all: You're so cute! No you're so cute... it's really annoying... And in Joanie B. Goode she ruined a perfect Moliver scene : Oliver: Miley you'll always be on of my best girl buds Lily: Hey! Oliver: one of my best two girl buds. And in Janie B. Goode, she is mean to Oliver's girlfriend and he just asks for her to be nice with her but she didn't try until the hockey game. I really like Emily Osment but I hate her character... But I kinda like the show though

What has Disney Channel done?
I personally don't like Hannah Montana.
The show is so predictable. Every episode you know that Hannah is going to be stuck in some hard situation. Reeco's always going to have some sort of plan up his sleeve. Jackson is either hitting on a girl, or doing something ridiculous. Its really obvious how Hannah Montana talks... and how Miley Stewart talks and how much they look alike, that just makes cast in the show look dumb. I'm sorry to all who are fans of Miley but I don't think she can act OR sing at all whatsoever. She did NOTHING to get her where she is today. Its all because of her dad. "Daddy, I want to be a pop star" what did ya know, look where she is today. Sure she's pretty, but face it doll face... some of us out there have real talent and are working out butts off trying to get a music career, and what did you have to do? NOTHING!
