- TriviaThe fruit loops on O'Neill's spoon were glued in place to ensure continuity between takes/time loops, which is why he never eats that spoonful of cereal.
- GoofsDuring the briefing about setting up the remote observatory, Jack displays ignorance of Carter's plans to observe the coronal mass ejection. It was established from the first episode of Stargate SG-1 that Jack is a keen amateur astronomer; the airmen who came to his home to take him to the Stargate HQ found him on his roof using a telescope. It is therefore unlikely that Jack would not have knowledge of or display indifference towards an astronomical event such as a coronal mass ejection.
- Quotes
Jack O'Neill: You know the worst part about this? Every time we loop Daniel asks me a question, and I wasn't listening the first time.
Teal'c: You're not the only one to suffer some discomfort, O'Neill.

A Great Tribute to Films Featuring Time Loops
The SG-1 is investigating a solar storm in a planet with the alien archaeologist Malikai. Out of the blue, a beam hits Jack, Teal'c and Malikai that are close to an altar. Then Jack finds himself having breakfast with Sam and Daniel in the SGC.During the briefing of the SG-1 and General Hammond, Jack and Teal'c know what Sam is going to explain and the next activities in the SGC. Soon the event repeats over and over and Jack and Teal'c help Daniel to translate the writings in the altar memorizing the translation. What is the mystery of the altar?
"Window of Opportunity" is a great tribute to "Groundhog Day", "12:01" and other films featuring time loops. The story and the screenplay are delightful and the funniest moment is when Jack O'Neal learns that he can do whatever he wants since people will forget on the next day. Did he only kissed Samantha? My vote is nine.
