This story is one more adaptation of the Pocahontas story, already told several times in Hollywood. This one should have been avoided. That's not it is badly done, but it is too much theatrical for me. And Peter Godfrey was not in his element in this cheesy drama yarn. This director was a good drama film maker for Warner Bros during the forties. I did not know he worked for TV industry too. Well, this one is just an expose which is totally useless, especially if you have seen the Terry Malick's feature: THE NEW WORLD and even the Lew Landers's feature: CAPTAIN JOHN SMITH AND POCAHONTAS. But it will be OK for families whilst having supper.
