Great start, but falters as the season goes on...
I listened to a previous show by QCode, "The Edge of Sleep." It was very satisfying. But here, the plot falls apart, and the sound effects can't compensate (they felt unbalanced and too soft). Not just me: I recall just reading a review by someone stating they were a truck driver who couldn't figure out what was going on half the time. That made them want to ditch. Someone suggested a narrator, I just think more context is needed. I need to keep turning the volume up and down with the louder-than-usual ads and yelling of a character.

CARRIER - FULL OF GRUNTS, GROANS AND EAR SPLITTING EXPLOSIONS
Just reached Ep 7 thankfully interrupted by a live phone call. Not sure if my ears will survive a minute longer. Having trawled thru Passenger List over a couple of weeks I'd hoped this show might have been a little quieter. As a listener it's like begging for some intelligent dialogue instead of admiring the indulgences of an over zealous sound designer. I can't find his/her name on my cellphone but they get my vote for top billing even above Raylene. Not a bad actress but ill-served by her director for allowing too much cough and choke! If they last as long as me, listeners should be rewarded.
