I loved this movie! I'm a horror fan-I thought it was better than Peter Jackson's early stuff. I loved the tongue and cheek humor (I'm hungry) and the homage to horror films, (which I don't want to reveal plot). The special effects were well done. It was obviously a low budget movie, but I could definitely see the greatness of the director Don Johns in the movie. What I found to be the most amazing strenght of the film was the acting! None of the cast is known, but they were able to hold my attention throughout the film and moved me emotionally in many of the scenes. I found my pulse racing in many of the scenes that had me leaning forward in my seat as I watched. There were so many things I loved about this film, but perhaps what I loved the most was how the characters were built up in such a way that you really cared about what happened to them. It's been a while since I've seen a horror film that could do that, especially with the low budget that the producer/director, Don Johns had to work with. Very impressed! I sincerely enjoyed it! I'll be looking out for this director and what his next project will be!
