Mind blowing drama.
Six parts of complex, intriguing and baffling drama. This isn't your average six part mystery series, this will have you scratching your head, questioning everything you see, and doubting the things you've seen with your own eyes.
It's one of those shows where you'll be googling throughout asking if there is such a thing as correction, great drama always has the power to make you question if something is possible or not.
It's excellent from start to finish, the peak perhaps coming with Parts 3 and 4, it takes on a different direction from there on, but it's incredibly rewarding.
An amazing production, it's super slick, incredibly well made, well directed, with great music.
The acting is first rate from all of them, you can't pick a standout, Callum Turner is unbelievable as Shaun, I also thought Lia Williams and Holliday Grainger were flawless.

THIS should be the benchmark for future thriller series
How STRONG and solid storyline, sequence of scenes and events form the basis of edge-of-seat thriller.
Oh my, how a simple camera footage can be the root of gripping thriller!
No fancy gimmicks, dialogues, shoot-out scenes, computer coding thingies, CGI scenes and whatnot.
The plot on agencies is nothing new. It's all about how the storyline is delivered. It's delivered to perfection!

Thoroughly enjoyed this.
Just writing a very quick review to say that this series is simply brilliant. I was hooked right from the pre-credits scene.
The acting all round was fantastic. It's not often that I find a series where I find myself asking "what the hell is going on" several times - and not in a bad way.
The show also got me thinking... I'm not one for conspiracy theories but I don't think the ideas presented here are far beyond the realms of possibility... Which is quite unsettling! I hope there will be a second series.

Bad Boy...
This is WICKED, and the end of Season 2 is one of the most compelling pieces of film I've seen in a long long time.
Despite the typically European camera sheen (i.e 'crisp' rather than 'American' glossy and/or colourful) 'The Capture' totally engrossed me from the start until the final episode of Season 2.
The scriptwriting is top top drawer and the camera work and direction is near flawless.
The entire production deserve a big pat on the back because the complexity of the story would not be easy to translate so seamlessly as it has.
I have gone off a lot of TV lately i.e there is TOO MUCH (in my opinion) but when they are made to the standard of this then it's simply an honour to just kickback, chill out, and immerse yourself into what was an education as much as an enjoyment.
The last episode of Season 2 was PROPER... Bravo.

The show excellent
The show is excellent. It is a fresh take on investigative type shows. Every episode leaves you wanting to see the next. The new information handed on each episode is enough to satisfy your curiosity, and create new questions without it being too many. It's a good give and take. I have enjoyed every episode. I can only hope it gets a season 2.
Who watches the watchers?
This is a very believable drama, fiction yes, but how much of this stuff really happens? Plots and sub plots with the innocent manipulated to suit the various agendas of opposite sides of the coin. Hard to spot the good guys as the tale unfolds, watched all six episodes in one sitting, well worth it. Great cast and acting and some real edge of the seat drama moments.

Boom
Wow, whole episode (episode 3) keeps you on your toes..expecting big things, then BOOM at the end big twist, truly amazing. Very cleverly written piece of drama, best on current Tv.
All episodes so far extremely good, granted it is difficult to understand what is going on first, but stay with it and keep watching, it will not disappoint.
I'm only 18 so take it or leave it as an amateur review but 100% recommend.

Slows right down
Great acting great premice...
But by the time we get to episodes 5 and 6. We'll they could have rolled all that into one episode save some time.
Took so long, with not much happening (too much stargazing in TV drama nowadays)

Fast pacing hits bottle neck
Amazingly interesting paced show, great acting everything was good. However ending was disaster looked like the writers had no clue how to end it. easily 8 star show gave it 6 just because of clumsy ending.
Brilliant TV
If there were more shows like this, I wouldn't leave the living room! Great acting, amazing storyline, twists here there and everywhere. I'm gutted it's finished but binged it. You know it's a good one when you can't wait to get home from work to watch it. Makes you wonder who's watching you...
Starts with promise
Great premise for a story and good acting but characters have no depth and without empathy. Clumsy ending. Last third drags and I just wanted it to end. Hopefully there is no second season.

Starts with a 9, ends with a 2.
Very disappointed with the final episode. The show started off smart, and kept viewers intrigued. The show ended very dull, obvious, dumb, and pointless.

CAPTURED MY IMAGINATION
An engrossing and very well made series. Excellent cast, script and very well paced plot.
The plot is fun if somewhat farfetched but it is a TV series.
Definitely worth a binge in iso!!

[9.1] Bewildered and puzzled all over - What you see is not what you get
A superbly deep British series that I didn't understand more than half of it and that's not because it was bad, it's because you should probably watch it a dozen times to truly and fully grasp the machination schemes behind it.
Awesome acting by the flawless cast, spearheaded by the ever charismatic and beautiful Holliday Grainger whose dedication and stubbornness were a treat to watch, complemented with a fitting and surreal score.
Desperately awaiting season 2 to shed some more lights on the series' dark webs of conspiracy and the events leading to the final minutes of season 1.

If you like Person of Interest...
One of the most excellent conspiracy thriller shows I've watched since Person of Interest. Holliday Granger is perfect for the role. Interesting and enthralling from the beginning. Kept me on my toes the whole time and I was eager to watch each episode as soon as they were out. I thought the show also brilliantly captured geopolitical realities of the relation between the nations mentioned in the show.
The ending of season 2 was simply brilliant and satisfying. I have zero criticism for this show. I hope there's a third season and I hope to see Callum Turner in the show again.
If you're looking for a show that's exciting and thrilling and or want to watch a show similar to Person of Interest. Give this show a try!

This is incredible. Another great show and actors, so well done. Like Homeland/The Americans
Really Really well done.
If you like Homeland and The Americans and good shows like these, you will love this show. It always leaves us wanting more. So sad it is not publicized like the other shows on bigger networks. Watch it give it a try you will not be disappointed. It is not perfect, but with all it has and does it will make up for whatever may slip through a crack or two. See it through detective/police drama fans.
I hope this show goes on for a long time and they don't kill off good actors in the show....... Thank you BBC for a great show. We will definitely be fans and keep an eye out for other great shows in the future. This show deserves big awards.

This show is Underrated
This show brings a whole new dimension of excitement and suspense to the table. Just when you think you have the situation figured out, everything shifts in a different direction.
You'll be on the very edge of your seat throughout the show! Absolutely incredible performance! If it had been available on Netflix or some other platform, I believe it would have attracted a larger audience.
Everything about the drama, including the dialogue and the performances, is top-notch. It is fascinating that this show brings attention to how advanced technology has gotten in recent times as well as where we are headed in the future.
As someone who has a strong interest in technology, I am truly enjoying watching this show. Incredible performance!!

Started brilliantly but very poor ending
Really enjoyed the first four episodes and gave the benefit of the doubt to the fifth but the last was absolutely rubbish.Clever ,plausible and enjoyable at the start but the test of all good thrillers is if they can bring all the twists and turns to a believable conclusion and unfortunately the Capture totally fails to do so .Even worse than the Games of Thrones ending -it really is that bad

Deepfake becoming mainstream
An unsettling story about how images from a multitude of CCTV camera's can be manipulated to produce a "truth" as it is wanted. As the series unwinds you are rocked between fake and real until finally everything falls into place. The various are well cast and well played. It is always delightful to watch another well-made British series.
Captured by THE CAPTURE
This series has a fascinating premise and is a very real cautionary tale for our times - can we trust what we see in recorded (or even live) media? The interplay between what we think is real and what we are seeing keeps us engaged and guessing - Did he? Didn't he? There is a constant flip flop In our conclusions. The performances were good. Holliday Grainger and Callum Turner give us characters with whom we identify which leads us to believe we can see the truth through their eyes. Ron Pearlman is a favourite actor of mine since the show BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (many moons ago) and I think he did a superb job of being the American the world hates. I give this show a 7 (very good) out of 10. Available on Amazon Prime.

Gripping from the start, this won't disappoint!
Stumbled upon this on iPlayer and so glad we did, we watched the three available episodes back to back and now can't wait for next week. Haven't watched something this gripping in a long time, it's really pushing the boundaries and your everyday mini series. 10/10
Second half ruined it

Disastrous ending.
Good for the first 3 episodes, then. OMG what a waste of a show. Bad writing, unreastic crap and some pretty abysmal acting. Stay away.

Riveting!
I found this series to be one of the finest and worth watching in one day in all my 70 years of life. The way the flashbacks were constructed amazed me. They were so easy to follow, almost magical in flow. No confusion for me. The program was weighted so heavily upon technology, equipped so well to have all our information and governments greedy to hold such power, my synapses haven't fires that much since I was in my 30's and my chest pounded like a Buddy Rich solo. A powerful series done extremely well. Did it's job, I believe... :D
Many of the dangers we face indeed arise from science and technology-but, more fundamentally, because we have become powerful without becoming commensurately wise. The world-altering powers that technology has delivered into our hands now require a degree of consideration and foresight that has never before been asked of us.
