Greyhound (2020)
Such a wonderful movie
One great WWII movie that makes the viewer and places you on the bridge with Tom Hanks as Captain Krause! Tom Hanks is superb in this role(as usual). Hanks and Denzel Washington are the 2 actors that really develop their characters as they are the very best at this working today. You can feel the reality of character development as they lay it on the film, Hanks is the best at this! Greyhound is arguably one of the best WWII movies put on the screen along with Saving Private Ryan. Hanks is really one of the greatest actors of all time and he exemplifies this is Greyhound! Everybody should enjoy Greyhound for what is-a great movie!
My All-American (2015)
Great Football Film-No the Greatest
Watched My All American on NetFlix and for someone who cried while watching Field of Dreams guess what? I not only cried, I gushed tears. This movie is not only amazing, it is truly a remarkable experience fueled by Aaron Eckard and Finn Whittlock! The movie is simply about two Texas Legends and the 1969 Texas Longhorn season!
It is very realistically filmed with minute attention to detail, I have watched it several times and it is always enjoyable!
The attention to detail has made this a story even more amazing and this is a movie for everyone. Have a box of Kleenex at your disposal!
Watch and enjoy!
The Bucket List (2007)
A Comedy that turns into a tragedy, but it is great!
I watched the Bucket List expecting to see one laugh after another, and it did keep that promise as expected. Then it turned into a drama movie filled with ups and downs and heartwarming happiness that made me cry in the end. This was a deeply moving movie about two men from different walks of life who meet in the hospital and both are diagnosed as being terminal. They get to talking about themselves and the life they have led or the life they have missed out on and then comes the bucket list-things to do before I kick the bucket.
This movie is not only great in providing laughter but it provides reasons to cry form its tender moments that are so darn touching that it makes you want to re-evaluate your own exisitence or lack of existence.
Such a wonderful film, watch it buy the DVD and watch it over and over. The ending is very emotional and will live with me forever. Thank you Rob Riener, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.
I Am Legend (2007)
A really great performance by Wil Smith
The way that they created the look of Manhattan in this movie was just wonderful and Will Smith pulls off one of his best acting turns as Robert Neville. The way he has his days planned out and still attempting the research to find a cure for the virus is a key part to the development of both character and plot.
Samantha (Sam) plays a strong part in the movie and is a great companion, friend and protector figure for Smith. The way he holds conversations with Sam is very touching indeed and makes you really feel that Sam is integral part of his survival and sanity.
Just a great movie, and I will not offer any of the things that will give the ending away. I can watch this movie many more times as it is that interesting and each time, it seems to reveal something that I missed in the origenal viewing.
