Gwyneth Paltrow and Jane Lynch made surprise appearances at the "Glee! Live!" concert at the Izod Center, apparently as part of filming a planned concert movie. Because "Glee" producers aren't content with making kajillions off their multi-platform franchise -- albums, concert tour, merchandising, and, oh yeah, a Fox TV show -- they've set the bar at bazillions, and used yesterday's Izod Center stop on the "Glee Live!" tour to film what will be a 3D concert movie for release later this summer.
While the filming required a few rounds of orchestrated squeals and screams for the cameras before the "teen" stars (a couple of them are pushing 30) took the stage, no one was complaining -- and certainly not when Jane Lynch, who plays firebreathing cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester emerged to open the show, and Gwyneth Paltrow made a surprise appearance as substitute teacher Holly Holliday to reprise Cee Lo's "Forget You," a highlight of the show's uneven second season.
