This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The linear anomaly appeared to be emanating from the Wreck 1487 site, a known repeat leak source. The slick had a light-toned, shimmery appearance, was distinguishable from natural phenomena and had a low to moderate contrast against its background. It measured approximately 0.90 nm in length and 0.03 nm at the widest point. Winds near the time of the image were out of the NE at 13 kts. UNCERTAINTIES: Due to the low contrast observed in the western portion of the anomaly, the exact surface area could not be determined.
