PRO: The Titans claimed linebacker Curtis Jacobs off waivers during the 2025 offseason. The 6-foot-1-inch, 241-pounder spent his rookie season with the New England Patriots where he played in nine games. Prior to entering the NFL, he started all 13 games with Penn State in 2023 and tallied 50 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and five quarterback hits. The Glen Burnie, Md., native played four seasons for the Nittany Lions (2020-23) where he saw action in 45 games.

Earned All-Big Ten honorable mention honors from the coaches and was named Penn State's Lion's Pride Outstanding Senior Player Award along with Caedan Wallace and Theo Johnson. Ranked second in the Big Ten and 19th nationally with two fumble recoveries. Jacobs was a Butkus Award semifinalist and named to the Reese's Senior Bowl watch list.
• As a junior (2022), started 12 games at linebacker and made 52 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, two pass breakups and an interception returned for a touchdown. Named the coaching staff's Defensive Player of the Game twice (Auburn, 9/17; Rutgers, 11/19) and tied for second in the Big Ten in fumble recoveries. Tabbed All-Big Ten honorable mention by the coaches and media and earned the team's Bob Mitinger Memorial Ultimate Teammate Award with Brenton Strange. Jacobs was also named preseason All-Big Ten second team by Pro Football Focus.
• As a sophomore (2021), appeared in 12 games, made 11 starts and tallied 61 tackles, to go along with seven tackles for loss, three sacks and an interception. Also recorded an 18-yard reception on a fake punt and named All-Big Ten honorable mention by the media
• As a true freshman (2020), appeared in eight games and made nine tackles to go along with a tackle for loss and a pass breakup.
