PageMaker version

Aldus Corp. says it has shipped the latest release of Aldus PageMaker, Macintosh version 4.0.

It includes new word-processing capabilities, expanded typographic controls and enhanced features for handling long documents.

Paul Brainerd, Aldus president, said that ``with more than 75 new features and enhancements, PageMaker 4.0 represents the beginning of a new era in publishing. . . .''

The new release is priced at $795 in the United States and Canada, but registered owners of PageMaker can purchase it for $150.
