An untitled team-up film of female characters from Marvel Comics is a proposed American superhero film to be produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The concept for a female team-up film featuring characters from throughout the MCU films was first pitched to the studio by many of the franchise's actresses while making Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

In October 2017, Tessa Thompson revealed that she and other actresses from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films—including Brie Larson, Zoe Saldaña, Scarlett Johansson, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, and Letitia Wright—had approached Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige during the production of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019) to propose an all-female team-up film.[1][2] Thompson cited the Lady Liberators comic book team as precedent for such a team-up, and said that Feige was interested in the idea.[1] Feige later said a scene featuring many of these actresses and others who played female characters throughout the MCU together had already been filmed for an upcoming film, and the next step for making an entire film like that was "figuring out when and how" to do it.[3] The scene is featured in Endgame, and was compared to the comic book team A-Force by commentators.[4]

In October 2019, both Larson and Johansson separately expressed their passion for such a project, despite Johansson's character Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow having been killed off in Endgame.[5][6] Wright expressed her interest in a female team-up film the following month.[2] In October 2020, Wright said Marvel Studios' head of production Victoria Alonso felt "very strong about spearheading" the project with Feige, and expressed interest in seeing her Black Panther (2018) co-stars Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong'o, and Angela Bassett star in the project, alongside Thompson's Valkyrie and Larson's Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel.[7]
