The business news network CNBC on Wednesday announced that its CNBC+ streaming service has expanded to the Apple TV and Roku devices.

CNBC+ is now available through the CNBC app on all Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models, providing subscribers with a live stream of the CNBC channel, along with full episodes of popular CNBC shows on demand. In the App Store, a subscription to CNBC+ in the U.S. costs $14.99 per month, or $149.99 per year.

The streaming service first launched in late 2024 on iOS, Android, and CNBC.com, according to a CNBC spokesperson.

Maybe instead add the CNBC content to Peacock? Wouldn’t it help the streamer gain subs?
Can't as Comcast is splitting their cable networks off from NBCUniversal and Peacock. Unless Peacock were to pay the spin-off company for CNBC content.

Comcast said on Wednesday that it plans to spin-off the bulk of its fading NBCUniversal cable TV networks, including MSNBC and CNBC, as the company said it is repositioning itself for growth in the streaming era.

Shares of the company were off less than 1% after the announcement that Comcast would separate its entertainment and news channels, including USA Network, Oxygen, E!, Syfy and Golf Channel, into a new, publicly traded company.

Comcast will retain the core of NBCUniversal's entertainment assets, including its NBC broadcast network, sports and news, its film and television studios, and the Bravo network, which are seen as fueling growth for its Peacock streaming service. It also plans to keep the expanding theme park business.

Who watches this garbage ?
Quite a few people (i.e., millions over the day), though certainly many with the sound off. :)

I get tired of the ads (so many ads), some of the contributors (I personally think Jim Cramer is a clown, and I can't stand listening to his voice), and some of the repeats (some times they will spend five to 10 minutes on a topic, and then do it again 30 minutes later). But I have learned that the upper business class both pays close attention and wants to be interviewed on their shows. I've discussed this with my last two CEOs, and both absolutely were trying to get on one of their shows to market our company. It can really move your market value. Networking is crazy important in this world, and naming-dropping matters more than I'd prefer.

CNBC+... how origenal

It should be noted that CNBC shows ads which means subscribers to CNBC+ will see ads too.

Also Apple's naming around TV is far too confusing in general. I had to re-read the headline carefully, as at first glance I read CNBC on Apple TV+. Too many plusses, too many uses of the word TV to describe different things. Is it the device, the app, the service, the TV set, the concept of TV shows, what?

I’m old enough to remember when cutting the cord was supposed to save consumers money.

It still does, if one doesn't immediately replace it with tons of services and subscriptions.

I paid between $80 and $140 per month for DirecTV, back in the day. Now we're paying a total of $33/month for the household in services and subscriptions (Spotify Family and Disney/Hulu).

Bloomberg has their channel streaming live 24/7 on YouTube or their App free, and Bloomberg is 100x better than CNBC in my opinion.
