Namely, “Prisma” is centered on the complex relationship among “identity, aspirations, physical appearance and sexual orientations in a group of teenagers from Latina, a small town in the Roman province,” the show’s description states. It tells a story of two brothers — Andrea (played by Mattia Carrano) and Marco — who face different types of turmoil throughout each episode.

The Italian-casted show is a unique take on modern-day teenage life and experiences. Think: “Stranger Things” and “13 Reasons Why,” but in a whole new light.
According to Variety, the show is a ground-breaker for “challenging teenage gender norms,” all while catering to a young audience (though we predict it’ll be insightful for any watcher).
