His forehead is pierced with a nail-pistol and next to his body a print of a sport-shoe gets found. Tom Segers is leading the investigation and his new police-partner Fien will feel it. The just graduated inspector doesn't get taken serious and gets not one single chance to prove herself. After a conversation with the victim's girlfriend, Tom is sure that Geens was killed by his son Bart. The boy had a fight with his father about money, and in his house they find the sport-shoe and a nail-pistol. Tom is sure it's only a matter of time before Bart makes a confession. When Fien suddenly brings in another suspect, Tom gets furious. From today on Dani leads the team of Zone Stad, but not everyone is happy with that.
