Reims boss Will Still says his club are no longer forking out £22,000 fines for every game he is in charge.
The 30-year-old has been a revelation at the Stade Auguste-Delaune since being appointed in October, with his side unbeaten in 19 league games.
A Football Manager fanatic, the Belgian-born Englishman has become something of a cult hero among supporters as a result of him not yet holding a UEFA Pro Licence.
It led Reims having to pay £22K for every match he oversees in the dugout, but Still has stated that the club are no longer footing the bill.
That is because the West Ham fan has now started the course at the National Football Centre near Brussels, where he visits on a monthly basis.
Speaking on Drive, talkSPORT host Andy Goldstein asked Still whether Reims are continuing to pay out the hefty sum of money.
Still replied: "No, that fine has finally come to an end as the Pro Licence course that I'm on has started."
Pressed on whether he has the qualifications now, Still remarked: "I've not finished it, but I've started it and I'm enrolled in it, so it's ongoing."
Addressing the speculation about him, Still then added: "The rumours are spreading that I have no coaching diploma and I've just landed here from Football Manager and that I have no coaching badges.
"So that rumour is obviously completely false.
"I'm just getting the record straight to people that I have studied it at university and I haven't just landed here from Football Manager.
"It's the story that people enjoy hearing."
After revealing that no Premier League clubs have approached him, Still was asked by Goldstein if he would entertain a conversation from his beloved West Ham at the end of the season.
He replied: "No, just out of respect for David Moyes, he's still there and doing the job."
Pressed on the scenario that if Moyes had been relieved on his duties and Reims had given him permission to speak to the Hammers, Still remained coy on potentially making the move to the London Stadium.
Still simply stated: "I'd have a think about it."
As for Reims' unbeaten run, Still revealed he has told his players to simply play with freedom, with Arsenal loanee Folarin Balogun thriving under his tutelage.
He remarked: "I don't think it's one specific thing, we try to create an environment where people want to be and people want to perform.
"But it's also giving certain parts of responsibility and freedom to the players, just go out there and express yourselves and be yourselves and try to enjoy it as much as you can.
"There is no magic secret or anything like that, it's just letting players be themselves, letting players express themselves and push them to try and enjoy it as much as possible."
Reims currently sit eighth in the Ligue 1 table ahead of their clash against second-placed Marseille on Sunday.
