Digital Library Open
House Extended to December 31, 1997
Because of the overwhelmingly positive response to our Digital Library
from professional members, student members, and institutions, we are extending our Digital Library Open House through December 31, 1997. Click here for membership options and Digital Library subscriptions.
Since we first offered a peek into our Digital Library back in July, we've been busy adding content: we have now made available over 95% of all ACM journals and proceedings from 1991 forward, and are working on making the search process smoother. See our Search Pointers for things to keep in mind when browsing the Library.
Visitor feedback has been a rich source for improvements - please keep it coming our way.

Tap into the ACM Digital Library, a vast resource of bibliographical information, citations, and full-text articles. During Open
House, everyone -- members and subscribers of ACM, as well as the general
public -- may sample the entire Digital Library and use its many resources -- including full-text articles
-- for free.
Full-text articles can be accessed through the Search and Tables of Contents
facilities. Beginning in October, 1997, the Digital Library will have an enhanced search engine, capable of free-text search through the full text of articles as well as the Citations database. Typically, full-text files are in PDF format, though some are in HTML and PostScript -- download a
free Acrobat ® Reader version 3.0 or higher from Adobe
Systems, Inc. for a wide variety of platforms.
