The applet was created as an undergraduate Part II project for the Computer Science Tripos at the University of Cambridge. The purpose of the applet is to investigate the effects of the JPEG Quantisation Matrix. The applet was written by David Bell.

I plan to update the applet and fix some minor problems in the near future, however due to other commitments I cannot guarentee when the next version will be released.
