After suffering numerous delays, Quake Arena Arcade is finally coming to Xbox Live this fall.
Todd Daniel, CEO of developer Pi Studios, confirmed to IGN the game would be released towards the end of November or early December of this year.
Daniel said the delay occurred primarily due to the acquisition of id Software by Zenimax Media last June. The downloadable game includes 45 total maps, 15 of which are brand-new ones built specifically for the XBLA release. The remaining 30 have been taken from Quake III: Arena.
No pricing details have been set. Daniel said id Software is on a wait-and see-approach regarding the release of additional classic id games through Xbox Live.
Your good friends at IGN will be getting a bunch of download...
