Warner Bros. has released the first official photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. Or at least, of Selina Kyle, Catwoman's non-costumed alter ego. It's hard to tell which exactly.

The photo comes via Slash Film, who found it on TheDarkKnightRises.com (though it no longer seems to be on that site). Check it out:

O.K., she looks good, I guess. But is this the extent of the Catwoman costume? Or is it just Selina in mid-transformation between streetwalker to daring feline antihero? Don't you kind of miss the Michelle Pfeiffer claws? Julie Newmar's ears?! Discuss below!

Update: Not surprisingly, Warner Bros. didn't release this image for shiggles. They knew that paparazzi and bystanders galore would be snapping shots of the actress (and/or her stunt double) today, straight from the set in Pittsburgh, and they wanted to get a more finessed image out there first.
