Variety is reporting that NBC is bringing back the team behind their critically-acclaimed series Friday Night Lights for a new Western series.

FNL executive producers Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey are putting together what's being called a "Western from a female point of view." FNL co-executive producer Liz Heldens will write the pilot.

Western from a female perspective? Worst case scenario.
