t=()You need to make sure to have completed the Sebastian's "Repentance" companion quest. Now, just go back to the chantry. This part is very important: Do not talk to Sebastian. Only talk to the Grand Cleric. When you start the dialog conversation with the Grand Cleric, just keep selecting the "You're useless" dialog option to get the +5 rivalry for Sebastian each time. You can repeat this cheat as many times as you'd like.

This is considered an in-game exploit, and may not work as future patches are released.
You can activate some abilities that are not designed to be active with others. For example, the abilities Control and Might for the warrior character are not meant to be able to be activated at the same time.
To get around this, activate one ability, and before it's done casting, activate the other ability. The game will glitch and wind up allowing both abilities to activate. This works for all sustainable abilities that are not meant to be able to be activated simultaneously, giving you an edge in combat.

Alter game files at your own risk and always make backups. Find the da2.exe file (In XP it can be found in C:\Program Files\Dragon Age 2\bin_ship) and make a shortcut to it on your desktop. Right click on the shortcut and select "Properties." Add this to the end of the "Target" field: -enabledeveloperconsole. the shortcut should read something like "C:\Program Files\Dragon Age 2\bin_ship\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole Now, start the game, type ~ (or the key above Tab) to open the console and enter the cheats below for the desired effect. Press Enter to close the console. Note: The console is invisible and you won't see any confirmation of the cheat.

Here are some exploits that can land you an infinite amount of Gold and Experience. These techniques are sure to be patched, but you can delete game patches if you've already updated your game.
Complete any side quest that does not activate a cutscene when receiving your reward (for example, the "South-Song" Gerralt's Corpse side quest or any "Find And Deliver" side quest), then save the game. Draw your weapon, and approach the NPC. While your character is putting away their weapon to talk to the NPC, rapidly press A to get unlimited money and EXP. You can keep doing this until you move your character. You can repeat this bug as much as you want. -ragingvalheru
While you are in Kirkwall, there is a quest in the chantry called "Sister Plinth's Remains." While returning her remains to her brother, DO NOT MOVE -- this prevents the exploit from working. Just keep pressing the button to turn over the remains and the brother will keep giving you the reward. Note: You find the remains in Darktown in the top right corner of the map. They are surrounded by a bunch of soldiers. -AgensM

You'll need access to the Black Emporium and enough gold to afford the Maker's Sigh potion (which resets all Ability Points/Attributes). Hawke's uniqe preset skills mean that when you use a Maker's Sigh potion and save, the preset skills will be always be filled. You can exploit this by following these steps:
1. Use a Maker's Sigh.
2. Save your game and reload the file.
3. Examine your Ability Points -- you should see the amount removes plus Hawke's preset abilities. For a Rogue this will be 4-5 points in the fual-wield tree.
4. Use another Maker's Sigh to add those Abilities to the Ability Points. You can repeat this indefintiely provided you have the potions, just remember to save and reload each time.

If you already have 15 health potions or 10 other potions in your inventory, the game is less likely to give you more potions as random loot drops because it doesn't want you to get more. You can fool the game into thinking you have fewer potions by going home and dropping some potions into storage. After that, loot a dungeon and chances are the game will give you more potions in loot until you reach the "cap." Repeat until you have the desired number of potions. Soon you'll be rolling in health, lyrium, and stamina potions. If you don't need them, sell them for coin!
