The first episode premiered on October 31st, 2010. On Novermber 8th, 2010 confirmed the production of a second season, consisting of 13 episodes.
The show starts off with a county sheriff waking up from a coma in a hospital, and goes from there. AMC's version of The Walking Dead differs slightly from the comic book version.
