I have been keeping a secret for so very, very long. A secret that literally been killing me to keep. KILLING ME.
For around 1/2 a year now (possibly a full year?) I have been keeping the secret that BioWare has included my likeness (scanned face) and voice for the character Diana Allers in Mass Effect 3.
Now that the news has been made public, I can finally do this: HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me say two non-freakout things here:
1.) Voice actors deserve some serious respect. THAT SH*& IS HARD WORK! I have a minor role and even after the end of a full day of voiceover, I was exhausted. I had about 2 full days. Imagine that for an entire full-length BioWare game with hundreds of dialogue options that one needs to record. And that isn't even taking into account the pace, changes, pronunciations that one has to learn of planets and items and races that, for all intents and purposes, aren't "real" in a literal sense, and often responding and acting to something or someone that isn't even there (it's you, a microphone and a sound booth - that's it).
So, if anyone ever asks me, "what is the one thing you learned and walked away with from this experience?" My response would be: To give voice actors the proper respect and acknowledgment that they're due because they work hard and are beyond talented!
2.) I would just like to send out a ginormous "THANK YOU" to BioWare, The Mass Effect team, Casey Hudson, the Doctors, and everyone at the company for including me in Mass Effect 3 and letting me become part of the team. It really, really, REALLY is a major dream come true! not only to just be a character in a game but to be in a game made by Bioware, a company that I insanely admire and enjoy and to be included in Mass Effect one of the most epic Space action-RPG series of this console generation! From a Bioware fan girl perspective, I can't come even close to expressing how much this means to me.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I hope I did a good job, have made everyone proud and I truly hope that the Mass Effect fans out there enjoy and approve of what I've done. Thanks again to everyone for their congratulations & well-wishings! I'm truly honored.
PS: I will NOT be reviewing or giving an "official score" for Mass Effect 3 for either IGN or G4TV. I SHALL, as a gamer, have my own personal opinions and look forward to bringing you general news about the Bioware title - but again: I WILL NOT BE REVIEWING THE GAME FOR IGN OR G4.
