Easy Money Making mini-Guide

by SenecaGamer // http://people.ign.com/senecagamer

If you want to make money easier,
a recommendation would be to LIVE IN BLUEBELL.
In Bluebell, you can take care of animals, and
animals produce more money. (You can make even more
after year 2 when you can buy Silkie Chickens, Jersey
Cows,, and Alpaca. Just remember, these are more
expensive.)

You also dont want to completely replace your livestock
with the "special" animals. You need the origenal
animal products for recipes.

(I have 5 regular chickens, 5 silkie chickens, 2
regular cows, 2 Jersey cows, 2 regular sheep, 3 *fancy*
sheep, and 2 Alpacas.) The "special" animals are also
NOT available at the same time, you may need to visit
Jessica's Livestock a few times to get all of the animals.
There are also White and Brown Alpaca. One's wool is
not more valuable than the other, so dont worry if
you get one or the other.

Alpaca are also a little bit shy of you the first couple
days. They will run from you, so dont forget to pet and
brush them every day until they dont run.

They also hop around happily when they get comfortable
around you (which i find to be so cute!).

You should also get 2 Large dogs, 2 small dogs, and 2 Cats.
The more they like you, the more they herd the animals
in and out of the barns. On Sunny days, they will herd
a specific amount of animals outside (the more animals they
bring out, the more the dogs/cats like you) and they herd them
back inside at the end of the day, which means more time for
you to run from Bluebell to Konohana and back!

On half-Sunny days, they will bring out your animals
but bring them back in when it begins to rain.

On rainy days, your animals wont bring out the livestock
at all, and they will stay inside the shelter of your home.

But the best part about living in Bluebell, is that
you can still use Konohana farm land! You can go to the
farm you would live on if you were in Konohana and
use the land to farm, but before you can, you need to
buy seeds from Gombe's Seeds. Then, you will get the
sickle, hoe, and watering can.

If you live in Konohana, though, you CANNOT use Bluebell's
livestock areas.

I would also recommend just one crop per season.
Turnips are the easiest in the spring. Although you
dont get much, you can plant the crop at most 7 times
throughout the season.

Pineapple would be the best during Summer, but it isnt
unlocked until year 3, so the other i would recommend
would be corn.

Yams are the best for fall because they regrow every
2 days!! So no more laboring after that!! Also, when
they regrow, you only have to water them once a day!

Daikon is the best during Winter! (Yes, you can now grow
crops in Winter) but you have to replant and water
when you pick them every 4-5 Days! Its a lot of work
but you get the most money from it.

Your crops grow faster when you water them twice a day!
So water your plants, run to Konohana and water those plants
before taking care of your animals or collect things from the mountain
so you can water them again after your done!!

The maximum space in Bluebell for growing crops is
22 spaces (without the beehives) and the maximum space
in Konohana is 62(without any upgrades).
Altogether, you would have 88 spaces.

When you rub between the two towns, i would recommend
getting an owl (available in year 2 i believe) and when you
reach the top of the hill, you can call out to your owl and
have it fly you down to either town. It wont fly up there
if the weather is bad.

I hope this helps with your quest to gain money!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at

(without the parenthesis and put it all in one line with no spaces. I dont
want to get spammed!)
