My thought process on why consumers are not entitled to the day one dlc Bioware has recently released for their game Mass Effect 3.

Let me know what you think in the comments below, and please keep it civil. I don't mind if you disagree with me but please make it a decent counter-argument.

Okay people.

I understand we love our Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Uncharted, Infamous, Heavy Rain, Demons Souls, Batman Arkham Asylum, Gears of War and more....

I know that we could play these games for days on end if time, life and other social engagements requiring us to leave our house and room permitted.

However you have to be kidding me if you really are begging for a remake of these games!!!!

I DO NOT CARE HOW MUCH OF A BESTSELLER THESE GAMES WERE.

I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU CRY BECAUSE BOOOOHOOOO THE SEQUELS WERE BETTER TO LOOK AT BECAUSE THE DEVELOPERS HAD A CHANCE TO WORK ON THE GRAPHICS SYSTEMS.

I DON'T CARE HOW MANY OF YOU SIGN PETITIONS TO REMAKE A GAME THAT LITERALLY WAS RELEASED 3 YEARS AGO.

RE-RELEASING A GAME AS A REMAKE FOR THE SAME SYSTEM IT CAME OUT ON IS THE BIGGEST, MOST IDIOTIC ACT OF REDUNDANCY I HAVE EVER SEEN.

A Frost 3 engine, ME 3 engine, Gears of War 3 engine will just basically be putting a shiny new paint job on your 1 year old vehicle. It's like going to the car lot and saying.....yeah I know 2 months ago you sold me the 2013 hybrid in forest green but you just released the aquatic blue and yeah...I want to buy that one now.

Flares, bells and astounding visuals only make a difference if the game is from a few generations ago.

The point is people... a remake is to give NEW  gamers who will be unable to find such game because it is so rare and old the chance to play the game with next gen visuals. It is to give the new a chance to play the old and see why it was revered as a gem. It is a chance to give older gamers the chance to go back and once again see why you loved the game without the tarnish of outdated graphics or a funky battle system.

In closing please realize how ridiculous, juvenile and outright stupid you are sounding.

Gamers complain about the cost of video games, we complain about DLC, we complain about the fact that they are now coming out with Halo 4.

Don't you think it's a little silly then that people are asking for remakes of systems that were just barely released for this generation of consoles?

I could really rant about this all day but in closing.....

Please wake up, please realize what you are asking of developers, tons of older games are begging for a remake (Legend of Dragoon springs to mind...)

Oh and lay off the energy drinks because obviously they are doing something to your mind.

So a few weeks ago I noticed a lot of people were posting pictures of their video game collections or talking about their video game collections and I realized I've been wanting to do something of the sort for a while. (Hooray Bandwagon!)

Looking at my video game collection I debated how to do it.

A vlog....nah people of youtube would just think I am silly. Maybe...more like I was too lazy to do a video.

A blog? Well,  I did go through and write down all my games on a list (CAN YOU SAY OCD?) but that list is at least 10+ pages...you can only read a massive wall of text for so long.

Finally I decided on pictures...it took forever and not all of my games are listed due to some of them being in storage.

But for your viewing pleasure here is the majority of my video game collection.

Last, but certainly not least, the collector's editions.

Well, there you have it....a plethora of video games...some which aren't pictured because yeah....they're in storage.

At last count I have 528 video games (not including storage)...maybe someone needs to stage an intervention?

Please tell me at least one other person out there has close to, as many or more games then I have!

Haha...okay, now that I feel like a hoarder because of this little project I am out.

Don't get me wrong....

I will watch this movie, the little zombie, undead loving nerd I am will have no choice but to watch. However I  think this trailer is absolute trash.

My reasoning?

1) It's a huge product insert for Sony. The first time I saw it I thought oh it's a commercial showing all of Sony's products.

2)It makes no sense in terms of time continium, with the way it looks I think it's in some strange alternate universe...because how else can we say Michelle Rodriguez's character is still alive. And Jill is dressed as Ada Wong....and Alice a.k.a Milla Jovovich looks like a scared normal person at one point and time. Also....where is Chris and Claire?!?!

3)Flying monsters and a castle....W....T....*BLEEP*

I hope the movie is better then what the trailer makes it seem. Or am I the only one who think the trailer isn't that great?

Also 2 vlogs for your pleasure. Ones what I received for Christmas. I recorded it Christmas day and never got around to uploading it, the other is what I am currently playing this week.

But I'm going to anyway.

So...as to what I said above, I recorded myself playing Dance Central 2 Rihanna's Rude Boy and I SWORE that I would never post it to the internet....well guess who is breaking that promise to herself?

Oh yeah in other news somehow in the past few months I have dropped 15 lbs. That was a surprise.
