That was fast! Just a few days after she was revealed as the new Doctor Who cast member, the first official photo has been released of Jenna-Louise Coleman as The Doctor's new companion, via BBC America's Tumblr.
While we don't know the details on Coleman's character -- who will replace Amy Pond as Companion to Matt Smith's Doctor --- we do know she will make her debut in the 2012 Doctor Who Christmas special.
