Ubisoft has announced Ghost Recon Future Soldier will launch on June 12. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will launch a little earlier, on May 22 in North America.

In terms of what sets the PC version apart, expect better visuals, including DX 11 features such as tessellation and volumetric fog. You'll need to activate Future Soldier online once when you first register, but do not need to be online thereafter to play.
