Kotobukiya is without a doubt responsible for some of the finest pop-culture collectibles out there, from their ARTFX statues to their Bishoujo ("pretty girl") figures and right on down to their great chopsticks and ice trays. Han Solo in Carbonite cubes, man!
Of course, Koto's showroom at Toy Fair 2012 this week was as awesome as ever. First off, the company is expanding their DC product into the ARTFX line, meaning some most excellent Batmen are soon to be coming our way -- from The Dark Knight Rises to the New 52 to The Freaking Dark Knight Returns.
On the Marvel side, there's The Avengers (classic versions), Spidey and Venom, Iron Man (movie version), and of course all those lovely Bishoujos. Actually, DC will continue to be mined for the latter as well, with Harley Quinn coming in the third quarter of this year. In the gaming realm, look for Mass Effect 3 figures and Tekken. And there are plenty of Star Wars pieces in the works too, including a Jaina Solo statue.
And get a load of those Archangel and Magneto Fine Art statues. Man.
