What is ReBuild Houston?

ReBuild Houston is the City of Houston’s initiative to improve the quality of life and mobility for residents of the city by rebuilding our drainage and street infrastructure. To support the initiative, the city has established a dedicated, pay-as-you-go fund to maintain the infrastructure, and to plan upgrades to meet future needs as the city grows.

Current Projects Highlights

  • Placing new 7” concrete paving in Knollwood Village Subdivision
  • Excavating and placing new 24” drainage pipe in Knollwood Village Subdivision area.
  • Crew setting storm manhole and lead in Knollwood Village subdivision area.
  • Mixing lime into road subgrade on Heatherbrook Dr. in Whiteheather Subdivision
  • Installation of 30” diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) for storm sewer outfall on Shadowdale Dr.
  • New manhole and drainage inlet for reconstructed Knob Oak Dr.
  •   New sidewalks being constructed after improved drainage infrastructure was placed as a part of the Whiteheather subdivision Drainage & Paving project.
  •   Concrete pour taking place in the Timber Oaks Subdivision area.
  • Drainage inlet being constructed in the Timber Oaks subdivision area.
  • Drainage inlet being constructed in the Timber Oaks subdivision area.
  • Concrete pour on Peer Street.
  • Concrete pour on Peer Street.
  • Concrete pour on Peer Street.
  • Concrete pour on Peer Street.
  • Final backfill being performed on new N. Eldridge Parkway Widening project.
  • Final striping placed for new N. Eldridge Parkway Widening project.
  • New storm sewer manhole being constructed on Memorial Dr. near N. Eldridge Parkway.
