The specialist staff of the Bookings Unit are able to offer programming advice drawing on their detailed knowledge of the BFI’s collections. We also offer practical guidance on how to screen our prints and on matters such as how to set up a film society or how to present silent film.
As many of our titles are not listed on the website – the holdings of the BFI are simply too vast – it is always worth contacting us with your specific query. If we have a print of the title you require, we’ll then check the availability and give you details about the terms of hire. We’ll also provide information about how prints should be screened and let you know if we can supply publicity material such as posters.
