This creamy cocktail, using South Africa's favorite liqueur and fresh strawberries (Dutch, of course!), offers a taste of the exotic. Amarula Cream is quite widely available outside Africa these days, but you could substitute with another cream-based liqueur, like Bailey’s . Amarula Sunset Cocktail makes a wonderful dessert after a summer barbeque.
Ingredients
- 2-3 tsp strawberry puree (made by blitzing a handful of strawberries in a food processor )
- 2 oz Amarula Cream (50 ml)
- 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
Preparation
Blend ingredients and pour into a flute or martini glass. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.-
