Many examples could be given such as the following: 1. The son dies; father prays for a reason two months later; when leaving the bank his voice comes from a recorder in the glove compartment with a recording of a psychotic episode (background laughter is heard on the recorder throughout the 20 minutes). The recorder had not worked in his apartment. 2. Prayer to find encouraging things in Rome; the next morning two ancient baptisteries are found nearby (Santa Cecilia and San Crisogono). 3. Prayer to be allowed to see the ancient baptistery in Nocera Superiore; it begins to rain, and a van full of Italian men appear who contact the custodian who gives entry. 4. When looking for an ancient baptistery in northern Italy, it begins to rain. Then a woman appears with an umbrella and gives it to me. 5. When looking for an ancient baptistery in Montorfano, Italy, the writer becomes lost in a back street, prays "Lord, I could use your help about now." When looking up immediately, he sees a sign pointing to the village. Believing God will help, he goes to a dead end in someone's back yard, then sees a stone path leading to the village. 6. At the village, it begins to rain and the baptistery is locked. Next door a woman says I should go to the yellow house where there is a black dog. No one is home, so I go to a stone house next door, and inquire in broken Italian whether there is a key to the baptistery. Then a woman appears who goes to some shelving and returns with keys to the baptistery that she unlocks. 7. On the train returning to Rome, I was surrounded and overwhelmed by the glory of God and felt excited and exhilarated. 8. In Rome, we stumble upon the archaeology office in Piazza Venezia and inquire to see the ancient baptistery at the chiesa of Santa Cecilia of Trastevere (after San Crisogono). The archaeologist immediately calls Alberto Pronti and Neda Parmagiani who give us, my wife Jennie and me, a private tour of the excavation where I take photographs of the fascinating 4 th and 9 th century immersion baptismal fonts. 9. I stopped praying, yet continued in my heart, and believe God will be with us and show us many more sites, which He did. I now believe God always answers prayer, even what seem to be negative responses, especially if we make requests that "serve His purpose and bring Him glory, in Jesus' name." 10. Space does not allow me to describe what occurred in Grado, Aquilea, Trieste, Lomello, Parma, Cremona, and locations in and near Split, Croatia, Sardinia, south Spain, and many others. 11. It was the winter of 1974. I prayed just before the car flipped over in a snowy ditch north of Minot. The light came on inside with the motor running. I had jumped out of the car, on the driver's side as it began to roll, onto a snow-covered grassy pillow, got back into the car, and unharmed drove on to Weyburn.

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 3. The Messianic vision is not of a military leader but a gentle king riding in a victory procession into Jerusalem, on a young donkey. He describes himself as lowly and gentle. 4. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 5. Before Abraham was born, Yeshua of Nazareth existed. 6. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. 7. Unless you repent, you too will perish. 8. Anyone who believes the good news about Yeshua and is baptized, will be saved. 9. Whoever declares publicly that they believe me, him will I declare before my Father in heaven. 10. Baptism now saves you also. It saves you because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ who said, "Because I live, you too will live." 11. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" 12. "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah." When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. 17. "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." 18. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 19. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 20. There is one body of Christ containing all saved people. 21. Wherever possible, followers of Yeshua meet together to affirm the above and offer praise to the Son as Creator and to the Father and to the Spirit. Each independent meeting is led by older married men who hold firmly to the trustworthy message. Peter was one of those. 22. Eternal punishment was taught by Yeshua of Nazareth as the outcome of unbelief or disobedience. 23. There is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
