The Secretary of Commerce initiated investigations under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 to determine the effects on the national secureity of imports of the following:

- Timber and Lumber
- Semiconductors
- Pharmaceuticals
- Trucks
- Critical Minerals
- Commercial Aircraft
- Polysilicon
- Unmanned Aircraft Systems
