Temuera Morrison, Zack Morris, David Field, Pacharo Mzembe and Gideon Mzembe have joined the cast of Amazon MGM Studios‘ period feature The Bluff starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Frank E. Flowers (Bob Marley: One Love) directs the film from a script he co-wrote with Joe Ballarini. Previously announced castmembers include Chopra Jonas, Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green and Vedanten Naidoo.
The Bluff centers on a former pirate (Chopra Jonas) who attempts to keep her family safe when she is confronted with her dangerous past. The project will debut on Prime Video on a yet-to-be-announced release date.

Producing the movie are Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot and Michael Disco for AGBO, along with Chopra Jonas and Cinestar Pictures’ Cisely Saldana and Mariel Saldana. Serving as executive producers alongside Flowers and Ballarini are Chris Castaldi, Ari Costa and Kassee Whiting for AGBO, Zoe Saldaña for Cinestar Pictures, and Thorsten Schumacher for Rocket Science.
Earlier this month, Chopra Jonas posted footage to Instagram of herself and her mom on their way to the film’s wrap party.
The Bluff marks a new collaboration between AGBO, Amazon MGM Studios and Chopra Jonas following the spy series Citadel that premiered in spring of 2023. Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden will return to star in the second season that is set to begin production later this year. Joe Russo is directing on the show, while Anthony Russo, Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes and Chris Castaldi executive produce for AGBO.
Morrison is known for playing Boba Fett in a number of projects in the Star Wars franchise, including the Disney+ series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. His other credits include both Aquaman films and the forthcoming Apple TV+ series Chief of War alongside Jason Momoa. Morrison is represented by RBA Management in Australia and New Zealand, in addition to JR Talent Group and Thirdhill Entertainment in Los Angeles.
Morris recently starred on the Goosebumps series for Disney+ and Hulu. He is represented by Elevate Entertainment and Creative Artists Management.
Field’s previous projects include the features Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and Mortal Kombat, along with the series Preacher and Shantaram. He is represented by Sue Barnett & Associates.
Pacharo Mzembe’s recent credits include the AMC series Nautilus and the Russell Crowe movie Sleeping Dogs. He is represented by Morrissey Management in Australia and Pop Art Management in L.A.
Gideon Mzembe, known for such stage work as the theatrical production of Prize Fighter, is represented by Mary-Ann Vale and Raquel Benassy at BMEG agency.
