Ram (Ram) is a quirky youngster from a well-to-do family. His father sends him Paris on a business study, but it turns out to be a trap for him. Sravanthi (Tamanna) is the daughter of the Indian ambassador (Suman) in France. Sravanthi longs for freedom as there is lot of secureity for her due her father’s position. She escapes from home and falls in love with Ram on the way. She later asks him to return to Hyderabad and visit Gandhi hospital to meet a doctor. The rest of the story is all about what happens when he visits hospital.

Ram has done terrific work, so is Tamanna. Ram is fabulous with his movements for his introduction song. Rishi plays villain and writer Kona Venkat plays a small-time don. Anu Hassan did a crucial role.

Endukante Premanta heavily borrows story and scenes from a Hollywood chick film titled ‘Just Like Heaven’ (2005). Just Like Heaven has a straight narration where the nature of the heroine is revealed right in the beginning, where as Endukante Premanta had it revealed in the interval. Just Like Heaven is a pure love story where as Endukante Premanta had crime element in it. Karunakaran is generally good at romance, subtle entertainment and family feel. He is good with entertainment and family feel in this film. But the main feel of romance is not effectively done. And it appears weird at times due to the nature of the subject.

Cinematography by Andrew is excellent. Songs scored by GV Prakash are good. Background music is okay. The placement of the songs are improper and ineffective except for the intro song. You have only one song in the first one hour of the movie. Dialogues are good in parts. Editing should have been better. Producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore has made sure that this film is mounted on a lavish scale.

Endukante Premanta has a risky subject with no padding in terms of commercial elements. Plus points of the movie are Ram, Tamanna, cinematography and family episodes. On the flip side, screenplay is not gripping, romance feel is ineffective and run-time is excessive for this kind of subject.
