Claude G This show is good. It's about Watson's character after Holmes' death. It's not about continuing Holmes' adventures through Watson. No, Watson is a doctor with a speciality in all things medically weird. Weird and abnormal case of the week format with some underlying story arcs that spans several episodes or others for longer durations. Season 1 introduces Watson in a manner where there are lingering demons and characters of his past which are linked to Holmes. It wraps it up pretty neatly at the end of the season and gives us a nice preview of what's to come. It's a good show and the characters are interesting. The most irritating part was how often they said the word “Holmes.” It was said more than necessary. I’m a fan of Holmes’s (reason I watched in the first place) but I was irritated half the time. A relief that there is not profuse amounts of foul language to ruin the script. The characters are well acted. Each with a distinct personality. It is a shame that season 2 is delayed. I hope it is not because of Rotten Tomatoes reviews as I don't find that the right people take the time to review shows. For example if you have an enjoyed a quality show, then it can be taken for granted. Certainly the directors & producers should not make the show trashy to try & please a small sector. But lead by example & continue quality production with low offensive language & good writing. I just think with all the new medical shows as much as it should stand out it doesn't 🫤 It has great actors. I actually truly thought they were twins. Just some really good acting from every perspective. I don't think this deserves Rotten Tomatoes or Spilled Popcorn to me this is a five-star show. If you like mystery and medical this is a show for you. I adore the references and how they stick to the characters while exploring how they'd behave in a modern world. Clever medical mysteries, a beautifully written drama, if you don't like it at first, keep watching it gets better and better. The cast is wonderful, they have entertaining banter.
