But a milestone can also be an achievement, an accomplishment, or an important marker in your life. Andrea tells us, “Why not celebrate?”

Here’s some suggestions on how:

• Host a party or event
• Give back/support a cause
• Freely share stories, wisdom and advice with others
• Put something on your calendar that you will look forward to. A pedicure, drinks with friends, a nap, a drive up the shore
• Hire a photographer to capture a visible milestone in your life
