This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The oil slick was emanating from the known repeat leak source, Wreck 1487. The oil extended approximately 4.9nm in length and was up to 0.2nm in width. It exhibited an area of brighter, silver sheen closer to the point source, which may have indicated relatively thicker oil. Winds were WSW at approximately 10-12kts. Given the appearance in satellite imagery and the repeat nature of this source, our confidence level for this report is High. UNCERTAINTIES: None.
